I use pdf extreme reader
I use pdf extreme iphone app. it seems the best for ever. it can Crop page margin automatically and default is landscape model. That make the pdf word size very big and readable. love it and recommend to try. one bad thing it is not free, need 99cents

Doesit do text searches? Is navigation easy (e.g. can I go straight to page 100)?

Hi,
I want to get a mobile to read pdf and watch dieo when in car.. i tried my friend ipod touch 32gb 3rd gen. When I open pdf using safari and zoom.. it can't get much bigger than a certain size.. how come there is a limitation? In the Goodreader app with said 50x zoom... how much can it zoom much further than the safari built in browser (I don't know how much is the maximum zoom)? I'm also checking the Sony Satio and Samsung i8910 handyphone. But they are not multi-touch.. meaning you can't use pinch to zoom the screen... so i guess the ipod touch is the best for reading pdf.. that is.. the multi-touch pinch is the best way to zoom? or maybe the Satio or i8910 has other strenghts in the pdf reading department that I haven't considered before? Thanks. Pls. mention other possible devices. |

Yep, many of my PDFs are A4 sized documents full of figures and tables. I really need something with an A4 screen to have an ideal PDF reader--needs stylus mark up as well.

I'll mainly read magazines in pdf with many illustrations and colors.
I think I'll just wait for the IPAD as the Ipod seems to be quite small for a full page magazine reading.. isn't it... what could be the advantage for getting the Ipod instead of the Ipad for reading pdf magazines? |

It depends on how you saved them on your phone. If they're stored as emails, the iPhone's inbuilt PDF viewer should kick in and display the file for you when you tap on it in the email.

i think FastPDF is a good reader for browsing large file size magazines, even on a small screen device like the iPod Touch
But i think GoodReader just takes the cake. It is as fast and it integrates with Dropbox, Google Docs and Box.net enabling you to read books stored there. Cloud apps are great. Review of PDF Reader Good Reader Here >> |
