Sony PRS-900 Froze upon opening
I had my Sony PRS-900 freeze when I tried to open it. I had it in Shut Down Mode.
Reset button does not work. It had been at 3 bars of the 4 for the battery. I only have ePub books from the Sony Reader Store on there. I had synced with a new book earlier this week. I've had it now for 4 months. I had this problem once before when I had PDF and ePub books on it. I took off the PDF books and had no problem. The last time it froze the battery was at 2 bars. This time the battery was at 3 bars. Charging for just 15 minutes released the freeze. It appears after syncing or after dropping to 2 bars it should then be left in Sleep Mode until 1 bar is reached. Then a full charge should be appled before using Shut Down Mode again to conserve battery power. Last edited by sirmaru; 05-09-2010 at 01:23 PM. |
