Craigslist and Kindles

Has anyone else notice that they are appearing more and more now a day and for crazy cheap. I scored a Kindle 2i for $150!
I look this morning and sure enough, there is another one for $150 and this one comes with a case and one of those skins...
Must be unwanted xmass presents

Or folks cashing in to pay for the iPad?

Damn $150 is a good price!

I think the iPad AND the potential K3 release soon will both see a lot of Kindles dumped into the 2nd hand market. It's over a year since the K2 was released so an update is overdue in my opinion. I will be very suprised if Amazon don't at least announce the specs of the Kindle 3 before the iPad launch date.

The worst thing Amazon can do is let the iPad launch with the Amazon alternative still being a 13 month old design gray scale reader.

why? they didn't announce the specs of the 2. someone posted a superstealth review and we hardly believed it. what!!!! no battery! why NEVER! smooth back! how could they??? what the hell is the thinking with the keyboard!? and that's pretty much all of the heads up we got

They have been on CL for a while now, and yes you can find a great deal.

Just did a search in my area, cheapest K2 is $145, and there's a three or four others under $200 ($175-190). So it does look like prices are coming down.

I got my K1 off craigs list for $200 last year around this time (right after the K2 launched).

Once the Ipad comes out I will try and get another for my son. Hell, $150 is a great price

That is a good price. I sold my Kindle 1 in January (prior to the iPad news) for $120!
