Salonorchester Erfurt
Hi everyone,
I have not been very active on these forums in the last few years, some of the newer members probably don't even know me... What I've been doing in RL (apart from working, building a house, training a dog and of course marrying...^^) is founding a "Salonorchester". We are still in the beginning stages, but we've had a few gigs and did a couple of recordings for youtube (mainly for studying purposes). If you enter Salonorchester Erfurt in Youtube you'll find some samples of what we do. I hope you enjoy it. Leave comments if you like (or don't like) what you hear and try to guess which of the musicians is me... |

Nice...I was going to guess you were the bass player, but since there were at least two different bass players I'm going for lead violinist

Thanks.
And yes, I'm the lead violinist...^^ More titles will be added over time. I've got a few still that need to be prepared for youtube upload and we'll have another few gigs in November. Sadly there is not much money in this yet, but then, I do have a paid job and any extra income gets taxed into oblivion anyway so... |

(it's especially cool if you play all four at once, but stagger the entrances.) |

I'm still checking out the ones you uploaded on youtube, but so far my favorite is Ole Guapa (or Bel Ami or Blue Tango or Tico Tico ).
Thank you for sharing. |

Tico Tico seems to be popular anyway.
Have you tried Miss Marple yet? |
