Error creating catalog

Hi!

I'm having trouble creating a catalog of the books in my library. Below is the error output.

Any idea? Should I file a bug?

I'm not going to compile calibre myself -no spare time-; are you planning on adding the above modification to next version of calibre?

By definition yes - when Kovid posts a link to a patch at GitHub its shorthand for 'It will be the next release, and here's the change I made to the code."
