Sony PRS-600 Charging Advise
Hi I have just bought the wife the PRS-600 red for her birthday in june 27th but in the mean time I need to test it, So I secretly need to charge it first can someone confirm how long to charge it for the first time via usb.

Also have read that the official PSP charger works has this been confirmed or not.

Best to charge it overnight initially.

Yes, any PSP charger works just fine.

The initial charge took a long time on mine. I charged it over the period of a day on the computer (where the computer was being actively used). You will probably find you can't leave it on charge and expect it to actually charge overnight without modifying your computer BIOS because computers are typically set to sleep after a period of inactivity and if your usb sleeps it won't charge.
