Is there any pattern to it like same publisher or something. I have lost confidence in them. Gonna use Google for a whole till they sort it out

It's worth noting that the Apprentices have you covered with Kepub now. It was a bit of a pain for me cause I could not use Kobo Desktop in my carefully constructed Wine.. (Windows .... I like to think of it as Emulation, in Linux.)... But that probably puts me in the minority of the minority.
I've been saying this for years, (and have obviously been proven wrong.).. but I just can't imagine how Adobe is doing to keep their DRM service going.. or why anyone would be paying them for it at this point. |

I experienced the Kobo adept issue a couple weeks ago. I have switched to the Obok method for my Kobo purchases ever since.

I haven't had any word that the problem has been fixed, but today I was able to download the one book that I couldn't previously.

you are more patient than me as soon as i couldnt download i chatted with them and got them to remove from library and refund me then i bought it from google play

From the last response I received, I'm getting the impression that they are fixing the books on a one by one basis as the problem is reported but the developers are still trying to find the base cause and fix that.

Email received today. They are still working on the problem. Until they have fully fixed it I am still not buying from them and will get elsewhere or read the 1500 books I have rofl

Just encountered the E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN problem yesterday on two ebooks I purchased from Kobo.
After the customer care representative whom I communicated with via chat was unable to resolve the situation, it was escalated to the next level. I then got the same email as others saying that the development team was working on this and that I would be contacted when a solution was found. Rather frustrating. |

Well, rather than wait for them to get back to me, I installed the Obok plugin in Calibre. Worked wonderfully.
Hadn't known about the Obok plugin as I previously just used ADE. Many thanks to those who made me aware of that option. Should have checked out this forum when I first encountered the problem yesterday. |
