Hotsync Help

Help for a total beginner, please.
I just installed iSiloX and followed the tutorials to convert the iSilo page and the readme file. I got "successul conversion" messages. They show the correct user name as a destination, but when I hotsync to my Visor Prism, nothing happens. When I check the hotsync setup, I find there is no conduit listed for iSilo....Should there be one? Other docs that I download make it to iSilo fine -- its just the iSiloX stuff. I don't have any external memory devices (yet -- that's next on the pda wish list)
