Amazon missed a good advertising coup!

It is 'new release Tuesday' and a lot of books are available, including the new Dean Koontz. I understand the idea of street dates, but imagine the coup if Amazon made new books available at 12:01 AM of the street date?

It's now after 9AM and that new Koontz is still not available for sale to Kindle.

And for the Gen3 crowd, this same book is available in MobiPocket format for about $5 more.

The page is up, but the book is not available for purchase. The web page has been up for a few days, actually.

I found the page on Amazon, clicked the buy link and it came back saying not yet available.
