I have never had a kindle to fail for any reason. My first kindle was a keyboard model, and I have had PW kindle, voyage. I believe 5 kindles in all

I’ve never had an Eink display fail on me yet. I’ve had the kindle keyboard, the kindle touch, paper white 1 and 2 and my latest was the voyage. I’ve had the voyage the longest for just over 3 years and the screen is still perfect.

I also had the Sony PRS 300 for a few months before I got the kindle keyboard and I’ve had kobo minis and I still have a nook simple touch which I’ve had for about 4-5 years. No issues with the display either.
