At least on the bright side, I was only 10 minutes late for the appointment. However thank goodness I was paying attention to traffic; the UBER driver I'm sure was more concerned about chcking his phone for directions; we'd take a road that went over the 401 highway and were just about to merge onto the 401. I'd looked down at the road and seen both the collector lans and express lanes totally stationary, and of course the driver had not seen that.
(Sigh; when I drove clients to appointments I'd always be aware of traffic conditions and would adjust my route on the fly to avoid heavy traffic). On the bright side, my orthotics only need minor adjustments to the heels. But what was interesting is I'v always assumed my left foot with the ankle support on the custom insoloe was the worse foot. Turns out she is also concerned about the right foot / ankle which are (I wish I could remember the term) very "loose"; my right foot tends to wander as I walk giving me a wonderful variable pigeon toe effect (both inwards and outwards) as I walk. |

Sheesh. The cost of 5 dozen eggs at Costco has jumped to $20.29 Cdn (~$14.26 US).

My son just spent over $33 on 7.5 dozen eggs at our Costco. We sent him out for 1.5 dozen. It wasn't even a better price per dozen than our local supermarket.
On the upside, we're enjoying frittatas and merengue and pate a choux this week. I may have to make an angel food cake. |

Our local Walmart was $8 for 18 eggs, generic brand.

You get an email from a newspaper to which you subscribe, it is of little interest, so you click on UNSUBSCRIBE and up pops a page with: "You've already unsubscribed from this email."
Which newspaper - The Washington Post. |

Perhaps you could take a hint from Crowley and his house plants in Good Omens?

I've reached the conculsion my NOCO GBX45 is faulty; at least on the 12V car battery boosting mode. My friends had no issues starting my car with their higher capacity GB70 unit. At leaxst I can use the GBX45 as a USB charger (both a USB A and C output).
Have a sent a query of to NOCO to see if there are any diagnostics I can invoke on the device to validate if all is working correctly. After starting the car went for a nice 2 hour drive to esnure the battery was fully charged. |

The landlords are not putting down salt outside and I had to cancel appointment because it's too slippy for me.

The local snow including much of what was on ski slopes has melted away.

I had an OOPS moment this morning. I'm trying to get back into the habit of applying moisturinbg cream to my heels each morning before putting socks on, so I was in the bathroom, reached over and grabbed a tube from the counter and squirted some onto one heel. Thought it looked different.
I'd grabbed a tube of sunblocker not the moisturizer. Guess that heel won't be getting tanned today!! |
