Calibre not dealing with NookColor microSD card.
I have several books on main memory on my NookColor. Today, I plugged in a microSD card, and turned on Calibre as I was going to send some to the card.
What I found is: - Calibre tells me that all the books that are on main memory are displayed in Calibre as being on device (Card A). This is false, they are on main memory, and that's how I sent them. - If I send a book to Card A, the file gets moved to main memory, but instead of under MyFiles\Books, it's stored in MainMemory on the same hierarchy as "My Files". Is this a known problem? How can I solve this? Thanks, John |

So it is just calibre's display that is incorrect? I would wipe them all off the reader including the calibre.metadata file and send them all fresh. Your other option is to wait for Chaley or Kovid to drop in with more insight then I have. |

When I send to main memory, they go to main memory, but Calibre displays them as on Card A.
When I send to Card A, it sends it to the root of main memory... |

There seems to be an issue with how various nook devices present their their storage. From reading posts, it seems that some nooks give the card first, and others give the main memory first.
I don't have a nook and haven't played with this code. Kovid made some changes a while back (last release I think) to fix some problem related to nook memory. I think it best to wait until he can respond. |

I'm sure the previous is good data but I think Kovid asked for the device debug. With your device connected go to Preferences - Misc and click Debug device detection. Add those results to your previous message.

Also, it's a 2GB microSD card, in case that info helps.

7.37 fixed the problem. Wow!
Big thank you to the dev team - I am really impressed with 3 releases this week and a fix to a real painful bug! |

Hi,
My NOOKcolor is not recognized by calibre. My nook 3g is their O. K. I tried plugging them individually and together and nothing, just nook 3g. Any thoughts? BTW, this has nothing to do with stripping DRM. Don't know how and have no need to know how. |
