Is the proof that time travel doesn't exist the fact that the world still exists? Consider that if time travel existed the temptation to change the past would be so strong that it would eventually cause destruction of reality due to a massive number of time paradoxes. |

Perhaps in another universe(s), but in this universe there were less paradoxes... We wouldn't even know about them--the world would continue as usual except to those it directly affected, according to quantum theory (to the best of my knowledge).

Which universe? The "many worlds" theory of John Wheeler says that for every quantum decision, a new universe would be created. Therefore time travel would just be creating new universes. . .

Do you think he'd like Albuquerque--it's cold enough during the winter?

I've noticed more and more songs with the same name despite being different songs. Is it possible that we are running out of new names for songs and thus must use a name that's already been used. Could it be that there is less creativity when it comes to music?

Now we can have music at will, and a ton of it has been created! I find it awesome to contemplate that difference from the past. At the same time, it has allowed a century of people who never *have* to listen to their own thoughts for longer than they like. We may be generating fewer deep thinkers or philosophers. |

What if the Truman Show and The Hunger Games are actually set in the same universe?

I was recently watching a YouTube video about paper sizes and was surprised to see how logical the metric method of standard paper sizes seemed to be compared to the U. S. standard paper sizes. Simply put, the metric method is to take a sheet of paper that 1 meter squared to get size A0, then you fold it in half to get size A1. Each time you fold it in half you get the next smaller size (A2 to A3 to A4).
With U. S. paper sizes, it seems they just happened. Someone settled on letter size (8.5" by 11") and that was it with other sizes also just happening (Ledger, 8" x 10.5", junior legal [5" x 8"]). The exception to this is legal size (8.5" by 14"), which came about due to the Legal Community needing to put additional writing and seals at the bottom of the page. They used to just tape three extra inches of paper to the bottom of the page for this purpose. Then, they just made the paper 3" inches longer (giving us the Legal standard) but typed the original document as if the paper was 11" long, leaving 3" of space at the bottom for additional information. |

well it seems that we are out of bands names also and so now we have so many bands using ridiculous names, or using many symbols in them (BEAK> SunOO))) ) etc.
or maybe in the internet people just have to try too much to be diferrent so they can attract some attention, i dunno..... |
