Futrelle, Jacques: The Diamond Master. v1. 17 June 07
Here's another Detective story, but one NOT featuring 'The Thinking Machine.'
This was originally published in 1909, and was definitely made into a silent film in the early Twenties; there may have been two fims. I really don't know anything about this novel. I know it is a mystery, of course, but I don't know to what degree the detective is involved. It's possible it may "only" be a mystery/thriller featuring a detective in a minor role. By the way, 'The Thinking Machine' stories are highly entertaining. The Professor is quite rude. I love it! I hope you enjoy this. Let us know if it's any good. Maybe we need a Review Section specifically for our uploaded books where readers can let us know about plot, character, formatting info, formatting idiosyncrasies, etc. --- perhaps a template with a few starred items we can click on to rate a book and then room for some comments. I'm disgusted with myself. Upload the new version 2.
Sorry about so many errors. Don |

I totally agree with your idea about a Review section. It would be great. So many books to read...
