File Preview - Left & Right margins
I use minus margin settings when converting to AZW3 to fill Scribe screen, but when I edit in calibre the left and right sides of text are cropped...
Is there a way to extend the preview window to view all the text? |

Is the preview floating or docked?
Just drag the edge wider. Wait, when I do that, the text reflows. Is this a Fixed Layout book |

It reflows in both floating and docked, same with any book...

"The problem is Amazon's stupidity in adding a margin!"
Agree. For that reason, the very last step editing books for the Kindle Paperwhite, I set left/right margins at (minus) 50px. Since this destroys the ability to comfortably edit the AZW in Calibre, I delete that format after uploading to the device and keep a clean EPUB version (without negative margins) in Calibre just in case I need to edit later. Thanks but not really the answer I was after, there are many times I do the edtitng prior to conversion only to find the changes made have reverted. I was after a way to get the editor to show the full page rather than cropped but it seems there isnt.

The preview window is meant to preview your HTML as accurately as possible. When you specify a negative margin, it will therefore render a negative margin, which means your text will be cut off.
