Calibre Companion asking for Calibre Password
I use CC on my iPad Air with no problems connecting wirelessly to my desktop computer where Calibre and library are. However, I just downloaded and installed CC on an Amazon Fire 10 tablet that I received, and when I try to connect wirelessly CC insists that I enter my Calibre Password.
Problem: My Calibre library on my desktop isn't password protected. What is going on? Thanks Greg |

You must have put something in the "Optional password" box in the calibre start wireless device dialog. To check this, click the "connect/share" toolbar button, stop the wireless device, then click the button and start the wireless device. You will be shown the dialog with the password box.
