Cut Contentserver from GUI possible?
Hello,
Ich want to install a Calibre Contnt Server in a VM. Actually i have a Installation with 1B RAM to edit Ebooks, too. But this is too much RAM. So is it Possible to install Callibre only with the Content Server in a smaller VM and have a bigger Installation with the GUI and connect to the Library in another Installation? Linux a X server under Linux? greetings Gucky |

You can run the content server separate from the GUI via the CLI. As long as there is a valid path to the library from both your installations, it should work. You should be careful, though, not to access the library using two GUI installations, so be sure to actually call the content server via the CLI- you may run into trouble if you don't.
