Drawing on the Kindle Fire!
So is it good enough for sketching with your fingers?! YES!
Although I haven't figure out how to move my layers in this version of Sketchbook Mobile. I hope more drawing based apps come out soon. |

I'll have a browse through as many drawing apps as I can tomorrow and see how they all work on the Fire. Autodesk have already released a new update just after I posted this. I think a lot of apps will be seeing updates by the end of this week too.

For $1.99 Sketch Book Pro offers more options than sketch book mobile.

SketchBook Mobile is what I bought for that $1.99 price. I also have the iPhone version too. I think you're thinking of SketchBook Mobile Express. I think just calling it Pro aswell would have been better though, haha. Technically it's the same app, just in a mobile format. Not even the interface is any different. Use it on my XT all the time. |

Starting my tests...
iSketcher I was coloring this one in but then I accidentally exited out and it didn't save automatically. A reason why I'm just photographing everything for now until these apps are better optimized. |

Scribbler
This app is kinda whacky, but draws really nice once you take the excess outline out. Good for the default heading type handwriting effect though. You can scroll up and down which is cool. Works great. Better use of the "SD Card" unlike iSketcher. |

Doodler
Horrible save output, but hopefully it'll get an update as it's one of my favorites so far. Emboss, spray, and this one weird brush. Scribbler and this one both show up in the gallery app too. |

Sorry for dragging this old post up but I'm currently on the search for a 'Free' drawing app for the Kindle Fire HD. Did you locate any on your travels?

SketchBook Mobile Express is pretty much the same as the full version, just less layers.
Sketch n Draw and iSketcher are pretty good too. Here are some on the Kindle HD that are rated 3 stars and up: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_...nid=2479574011 I'm pretty sure in the next month or so, they'll make one of the nice ones free for FAOTD. You might want to keep an eye on those BTW. |

And little late to the party, but your finger art is great.
