M96 Can't check Big Pen option

Hi everyone,

I received my M96 together with a pen supporting eraser function. I just use the stock firmware. However I don't seem to be able to enable the Big Pen option (Settings > Extensions > Pen Settings > Use Big Pen). If I try to check the box, it first says 'Updating touch screen firmware' and then gives the message 'The current PCB/Digitizer version maybe does not fully support all big pen features. Please try again'.

I can try again as often as I like, but nothing changes.

I've already downloaded a newer firmware from the Onyx site. It does not seem to matter.

Any idea? Does the device support big pen at all?

If you are scared from big pens then it is a problem. If you're scared from problems, then no worries, it works for me better then the original one; except for the big pen extension activation.

ereader-store.de told me that my model is a an early one, and the added big pen support on later batches. However, they told me that its a matter of time before a firmware update will arrive and resolve this issue, but no idea when.

Hey guys,

did anyone fix this problem? I did just updated my M96 to 4.4 which works fine (till now). But the the Big Pen is not working. As it had been before in the settings the M96 wont let me change to enable the "Big Pen". Does anybody got it working, and if so, by what doing?
