iSiloXC under Linux - no results?

I'm running iSiloXC 4.01 under Mandrake Linux 9.2. I've got an .ixl file and I can run iSiloXC with it as input. I see that the app is going away, fetching data, and then writing out a file at the end. All of that is great. But I can't find the .pdb file it creates! where is that output file? It seems to be nowhere on my system.

Any hints on how to define where it should appear?

Thanks
S

Post Some Tips

Make sure you are using "Destination/Files/Path" and not one of the other options (i.e., "HotSync" or "ActiveSync"). While I can't recall having problems with special characters (such as spaces), you may try a simpler path for testing purposes. A simple "file.pdb" should create a file named file.pdb in the current directory (with no relation to the path of the ixl file).

If you are still having problems, try using the "-vv" option to get more verbose output. That information may be able to give you additional information.

thanks, that was the ticket. I had copied my .ixl file over from my Windows box and of course there is no Hotsync user setting in Linux. Setting the Files option, as referenced in the user manual on the iSiloX website, did the trick.

by the way, setting -vv did nothing to illuminate me earlier in the day.

thanks again!
