Thank you!
It seems there are none of the multi-buy combos I was hoping to find, but at least now I know how to look. |

Do you have to add the code in manually at checkout? its just I looked at this link just to see if there was anything of interest and they had a series I had already bought in January - Solom - and it's showing £5.99 - which is what I paid. I'm just curious as there's nothing else that I want from Kobo right now to test it out on.

Kobo UK has a £60/£10 offer on for Father's Day (16th June):
https://www.kobo.com/UK/en/p/giftcards "Limited time offer. Receive a bonus £10 eGift when you send a Kobo eGift of £60 or more. Offer good for one time only per customer. Offer starts June 07, 2025 12:01 AM GMT and ends June 16, 2025 11:59 PM GMT." This is equivalent to 14% off every ebook bought with the £70 gift card total. (i.e. you get to buy £70 of books for £60, so discount == 10/70 ≈ 14%) Last edited by pdurrant; 06-10-2025 at 08:34 AM. |

The Father's Day offer is also available in Canada. Show him he's worth a great story for more information.

I'd rather that I earn interest in MY account (before I purchase something), rather than have Kobo earn interest. (The approx. 14% savings in a book purchase is not that important to me.) My email on this offer is currently in the Trash on my computer. Many people will love this offer, so thanks for posting it. Last edited by Dr. Drib; 06-11-2025 at 07:27 AM. |

I'm not taking the offer up this time only because I've already done it three times this year. I still have £105 of the £210 left, but I expect to use it up by the end of the year (I have been spending around £200 a year on ebooks at Amazon.) The offer is definitely worth it for me. |

I would still rather hang onto my money and earn something, rather than give it all at once to someone else. YMMV. |

Hmmm... quick visit to the calculator. $60 at 2.50% compounded annually would give you $69.58 after 6 years. At 5%, you would take 3 years to reach $69.46. Compare this to the immediate 16.67% return (60x1.16667 is 70.00). So if you are planning on spending $70 or £70 on ebooks over the next year, the ROI from purchasing a $/£60 gift card and getting the bonus $/£10 gift card is definitely the better choice. My point is that I choose not to hand over 60 pounds (approx. $81.00) and to just wait for an interesting ebook to come along for me to use that credit (which would actually become approx. $94.00 with Kobo's current offer. And these offers, as we all know, come and go with general frequency). I will be the 'holding company' for my money. In terms of a bank's savings account's rate (and they go under different names), APYs vary, as we all know. But I'm entirely in favor of anyone who wishes to choose to spend their money in ways they see appropriate for their legal desires. ![]() Last edited by Dr. Drib; 06-11-2025 at 02:35 PM. |
