Multi-format Reader

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest an ebook reader that can handle several different ebook formats ?

Maybe, there is some software available that enables ebooks to be read on a computer, no matter what the format is ??

Thanks in advance.

Specifically what formats are you looking for? Most ereaders can read a handful of formats, but not all of them can read the same formats or do it equally as well.

Hi

It depends on the formats.
Stil no eBook reader lets you read all the important commercial formats (if are these the ones you are talking about).

In a computer, you can read all of the formats of course, and the fastest way is to have several readers (the software) installed in your computer.

Best regards,

If you want ePub with DRM then the 505 or 700 will be your best choice.

FBreader, Calibre and Stanza will all support multiple ebook formats for reading on a computer (Though Stanza and Calibre converts books to the formats supported by the the iPhone/iPod Touch and the Sony Readers respectively for the devices).

As for actual ebook readers, most of the smaller ones will support several formats, but usually only support a single DRM'd format (or no DRM at all).
