Can't access Calibre remotely

My server has been working fine until today and now I can't access it remotely. Local access works fine.

After selecting the library I get: Failed to communicate with "/interface-data/books-init?
library_idCalibre&sort=timestamp.desc& 1559441244312" timed out after 60 seconds.

I'm running the current version of Calibre on Windows 10 pro and have tried turning off Windows defender and the Windows firewall and still get the same error.

Any suggestions what to try next?

something is blocking calibre from sending data to remote clients, the usual culprits are antivirus/firewall/security programs. Try running in safe mode and see if it works first. Then you can try eliminating interfering programs one by one.

Turned out to be a redirector (DDNS) issue - pain in the backside to sort out.
