I try to keep an open mind, and I appreciate the fact that different people have different tastes, but ... a man named "Paul" whose last name can be rearranged to spell "Apostle" who persecutes Christians and apparently has a change of heart?

From what I can tell, that description is a positive as far as the intended audience is concerned.

He's giving his audience what they want, and while I don't agree with many of their beliefs, I see nothing wrong with a writer doing that.
