Hi - Santa's apparently bringing an ebook reader!

But Santa wants me to research it myself as to what I want. I was originally thinking that a backlit screen would be useful, but they aren't that available apparently and not that well received. I think Santa wants me to be able to read in the dark because he doesn't like the light on, but personally, I think I'd rather read with a light on anyway. So that isn't a big issue for me.

I just need the ability to make fonts bigger, and I don't want to be restricted to any one book source.... I hate being restricted in any way. lol

Also the ability to adjust contrast might be useful, at least it sounds so. I am leaning toward the Sony Daily Reader Touch. Does anyone have one of these and how do you like it? What else might you recommend. I think the 7" format sounds nice too, though obviously ...6" isn't that much smaller!

Maybe becaue I was generous with her on Valentine's Day (?), Mrs. Santa has approved a Sony 950SC for my Christmas present. Hooray! When state tax and delivery charges were added to the mix, and since NewEgg had sold out, it was cheapest to buy from SonyStyle, we decided .
