Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas (Wikipedia) is the 1st novel in her Hathaways series of f/m Victorian historical romance centred around the members of a family suddenly elevated to the aristocracy, this installment starring the responsible eldest daughter struggling to adjust to their change in status and the increased social expectations thereof, and the unconventional man she turns to for help in adapting to high society, who begins to desire something more than the friendship originally intended, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Macmillan's St. Martin's Press imprint.

This is Macmillan's Heroes and Heartbreakers community's featured eBook Club of the Month selection for September. Apparently this follows up on a character from a novel in a previous series, The Wallflowers #3, Devil in Winter, and the editorial reviews say that the author deals with the hero's part-Roma heritage and the ways it makes him a misfit in society with relative sensitivity (although the customer reviews seem to mention other apparently frustrating issues with the romantic relationship, so YMMV).
