Do have a look around the forums, there are plenty of different devices to choose from and I'm sure you will find one that is just right for you.

I have a Sony 505 which I absolutely love and is perfect for me.

I agree that there are plenty of other devices to check out. I'm another 505 owner and I LOVE it. I have also seen others that I wouldn't mind owning someday. Let us know what you end up with.

Dare I step on this thread and welcome the potential kindle owner? I have a sony as well and love it And, like cassidy, I am enjoying some vacation time in Hawai'i right now, reading! (unlike her, I am just on vacation from my job and I am always using my sony in Hawai'i)

I may be leaning to Sony, I see that the 2 plus million Google books are available the Sony for free. Amazaon still stalling on the kindle relationship with libraries.
With the current competion I think we may have some more improvement coming our
way quickly.
