Restoring Metadata Failed (internal buffer error)
I am running Command Prompt to restore database
Code:
calibredb restore_database --library-path "E:\Fiction" --really-do-it Allocated PageFile:4 GB TotalBook: 55 K I had been watched the task manager when the process running, memory usage keep rising, until hit maximum and there times where the memory usage down and the process stopped but when the memory usage rising up again until hit max, then the process resume. Code:
.........40% internal buffer error : Memory allocation failed : growing buffer i think restoring metadata with 55k library seem "impossible" without adding more RAM, Last edited by yonkyunior; 10-29-2018 at 03:40 AM. |

yeah restoring database is not designed to be low memory, as it is not an everyday operation.
