Just curious, has anyone tried going to any of the various speed test sites (such as speedtest.net) in the Kindle browser and checked the speed while in 3G mode?

I would think that speedtest.net would not work with out flash.

I posted the same question earlier its good I think. 571kb/s = 71kB/s

so I think its fast. That is one reason I bought mine

Mine is 701 kb/s = 88 kB/S.

Kindle 3 3G in Brazil.
