Web Companion - "Error while copying the prc file to its target folder."

After working smoothly for several months, my Mobipocket Web Companion 4.8 has stopped converting html files to prc format. Using Win XP Pro.

After converting the HTML file, it wont write the prc file to the hdd.

Instead gives this error msg:
"Error while copying the prc file to its target folder. Check that you
have permission rights"

This utility has been working fine for months, now this.

Any idea what is the problem and how to fix it?

"Permission rights" implies an error at the operating system level. I have tried all the available options to where it is possible for the program to write it's output file - none work.

Sometimes after rebooting Windows the Web Companion will work for one or two conversions.

Nobody at Mobipocket responds to my emails.
