calibre & likebook P6

Hello,
I just bought a Likebook P6 and I tried to mount my microsd with about 10000ebooks i had ona previous ereader. Whn I connect the Likeook to Calibre it takes ages to see the ebooks on the device. How can I fix this problem and let calibre recognize my device library ina faster way?

Your likebook is probably MTP based. MTP is dog slow and simply wont work well with large colelctions of books on the device.

Certainly loads of MTP devices disconnect / unmount with long transfers. On fast Android tablets I use Total Commander and SMB plug in over WiFi and it's about 100x faster and more reliable. I have to Share a folder on something. On Android with Pocketbook App I connect to the Calibre Content Server.

I have Likebook and I won't buy another Android eink, or any Kindle MTP ereader because MTP is a pain.
