cannot use koreader when I use winterbreak
Can you help me? I used languagebreak to jailbreak on KPW3 before, but due to some unknown issues today, I am unable to use it properly. I am resetting the device to factory settings while using the rename OTABlocker option. (I guess this is the cause of my problem, but I searched the wiki and it seems that the solution he proposed is not effective for me.)
After resetting to factory settings, I tried using Winterbreak, but Koreader couldn't be opened. I tried for 8 hours and searched for various solutions, but still couldn't solve it. I need your help I'm not sure which logs to export to let you know where the problem lies, so please let me know if you need more information Code:

You need to first back off the jailbreak before you factory reset as you could end up with a Kindle shaped brick. Others have reset while jailbroken and bricked their Kindle.

I'm sorry to hear what you said. I mistakenly set RNDIS mode and ssh before, which prevented me from accessing Kindle's internal storage, and then Kual couldn't be opened properly. So I was forced to reset my Kindle directly, and now it seems normal except that I can't use Koreader. Can you tell me what I should do next and what keywords I should search for to solve this problem. I just searched and it doesn't seem to have mentioned this

Yes, I found that there are HF version and regular version. According to the content of these two articles https://github.com/KindleModding/WinterBreak/issues/2
https://kindlemodding.org/jailbreaki...m-a-reset.html I used both the HF version and the normal version of Koreader, but they couldn't run properly; I tried both the traditional version and the Coplate version of Kual, but they couldn't run properly. So now, I don't know how to do it Also, thank you very much for being willing to help me solve the problem I don't quite understand the system logic of this BBS. It seems like I mistakenly posted a new post just now. Sorry |

Thank you very much. I just solved the problem and went through the process of jailbreaking to install koreader again. In the end, it was successful. Maybe there was a mistake before.
