It did not work for me with the coplate package on my 2024 12th Gen Paperwhite.

After factory resetting it, I registered before transferring the WinterBreak files to my Kindle. Is that a problem? I haven't re-run the jailbreak yet, but the storage space available is correct now.

I'm originally tried it with WinterBreak 1.3.0 and Hotfix 1.4.0

May it have something to do with Kids version?

Another thing is, my Kindle can't even find official updates.

I'm deleted all JB files and made factory reset and it still says 5.17.0 is the latest version (I'm also checked my router settings to remove amazon update urls from blacklist).

You could do a manual firmware update.

Just happened to me here and I'm on not previously jailbroken PW5. Now it's stuck at boot, won't advance and is pretty much soft bricked.

Reporting with a paperwhite 11th gen with firmware 5.16.5 also not working. The "hotfix" book isnt showing, tried resetting the kindle and doing the JB all over.

In device info it says 32MB of space is free which is odd i think?

i can't access the filesystem just 4.1Kb volume with 3 pub keys

Has anyone else jailbroken successfully his Kindle Scribe 2022 on the latest 5.17.2 or other version?

I have on 5.17.2. Got an error during the kual/mrpi update:

but KUAL installed and works; the whole process seems to be completed. Be advised that the "normal" KOreader versions dont work on Scribe; you'll need a kindleHF version from:

https://build.koreader.rocks/download/nightly/
