Dictionary
How is the dictionary on Kindle? Have people had generally good experiences with it? Can you replace the dictionary/install additional ones?

The dictionary is The New Oxford American Dictionary which I find gives me the correct definition 99% of the time. There are other dictionaries available in the Kindle store so the default dictionary can be replaced.

I find that it is a very good dictionary. Some people have complained that not every word is in it, but not every word is in the OED, either. I did a test one time, and about 25% of the words that this dictionary did not find were not in the OED, either. It is a much larger dictionary than most that are available for Kindle.
Yes, you can buy other dictionaries. There is a section in the Kindle Store for Default dictionaries. They have to be specially formatted, and not all dictionaries comply. Some dictionaries you can just use like a book (Search, etc.). |

That sounds good. And I suppose Wi-Fi + web browser will help when a word is missing.
