Multitasking and scribble

I just got my M92 back from Booxtor, repaired and with new firmware. Impressive service, many many thanks!

Unfortunately however, it seems that the multitasking feature does not play nicely with the built-in scribble app. The following behaviour is reproducible on my book:

1.) open a scribble
2.) click on "explorer" in the task manager
3.) open a pdf
4.) click on "scribble" in the task manager

then the scribble appears, but is completely disfunctional: I cannot write, nor change pages, etc. In fact, pressing the "home" button, I get the context menu of the pdf reader, not the scribble app.

Moreover, to get to a normal state again, it appears that I have to press the "close book"-button for a rather long time.

Is this a known bug, is there anything I can do about it?

Many thanks,

Martin

I can confirm this happened in the beta version.

Maybe with the new formware it has been solved.

Firmware version

In the "about" section of my book, it says "1.8 20131204"

Checked after the update, the bug is still there.

I think the point is that multitasking somehow displays the scribble app, but it doesn't pass the control to the app. In fact writing or drawing results in page turns (for me both in pdf and epub readers).

I just found out that it seems to work better, if I first open the pdf, and then the scribble app. So, the workflow:

*read
*scribble
*close scribble
*read

works. (Of course, probably the best alternative is to prepare a pdf with blank pages and use that for scribbling.)

Yes I third this issue. Multitasking is a great feature but using it with the Scribble is pretty much the core of what I wanted it to do.

Fingers crossed this will be addressed in the next Update. Very annoying bug.
