Its good to hear that samsung are sorting out the problems. Im just been trying out netflix on my Nexus 7 and it works great with the App.
Personally i don't think not being able to watch amazon prime mite be not such big issue with people that that are not sighed onto it already as Netflix beets it in most ways and the App makes it playable on alot more platforms. Its seems amazon primes has some catching up to do ,like make a App to make it more compatible and increase the amount of movies. Last edited by darksaber35; 07-19-2012 at 10:33 AM. |

From what I heard on the web is you can download adobe flash from the store. However after August 14 flash will no longer be available.
I have Netflix and like it very much, but I still find myself using Amazon Instant Video because the selection on Netflix is so poor. |

Wow a guy that makes such a statement over such a minor thing really should be listened to,he can implore all he want's as it was not a big deal to me that made me angry in any way .Let alone wanting to gun some one down So that's the only thing to complain about for a guy who looks like he was designing apple computers back in the 1970s ZDNET - Jason Perlow "If you pick up a Nexus 7, I implore you to immediately download Apex Launcher and use it as your default home screen. It'll save you some money on psychotherapy and will definitely keep you from walking into Google's headquarters with a fully automatic weapon." Last edited by darksaber35; 07-19-2012 at 11:48 AM. |

Mr H MOST android tablets are selling for much more or there underpowered compared to the Nexus 7.Samsung sacrificed the SCREEN on the TAB 2 to save money by fitting a TFT screen and asus sacrificed the card reader. Samsung TAB 2 Daul core CPU - GPU ???? Asus Nexus 7 - QUAD core CPU - GPU -Nvidia's Tegra 3 normally fitted to more EXPENSIVE tablets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tegra Samsung 8GB £200 - 16GB £250 Asus Nexus 8GB £160 - 16GB £200 You cant have every thing in life for this price.Sacrifices have to be made to reach a price point that will sell very large amounts of units.Do you think people would be so interested IF it cost £50 more and had a card reader ? When i ordered my nexus i did not blindly stumble into buying it not knowing that there was no card reader and knew that the overall SPECS heavily outweighed the competition in it's price range(including the Tab 2) Also the the specs really do equal real performance and not some prima donna tablet that just looks nice On paper. The Nexus is as stable and as safe as a Swiss bank account ( i wish American banks where like that too )so your money invested is safe with this device. Youtube films i made to showoff it's raw power. It used to be evan higher than that as well in the past Evan the australain dollar is worth more now - 1.00 AUD = 1.04234 USD 32GB -$85 http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Wi-Dr...orage+Wi-Drive Airstash-uses memory cards http://www.amazon.com/Maxell-AirStas...ords=Air+Stash Oh and lets not forget that memory cards cost money to and try putting in a cheap slow Class 4 card into a tablet and see it crawl along while it accesses large files like video. You will need a good quality Class 10 card. So lets call it $70 for a the card reader+ $30 dollars for a memory card total $100. I will look into what price range of tablet that takes u into tomorrow as its 00.30 here So if a 8gb nexus cost 300 clams then the below transformer would only be 84 clams more Not a great deal me thinks. ASUS Transformer TF300 T-B1-BL 10.1-Inch 32 GB http://www.amazon.com/Transformer-TF...eywords=tablet Last edited by darksaber35; 07-19-2012 at 07:45 PM. |

As for network storage, they're not exactly portable and not a very good solution when the device manufacturer could have spent less than $2 to include one. Hell, even sub-$150 like Aluratek's 7" CinePad tablets can take microSD cards. |

And yes, the Nexus offers better specs than most other devices at a reasonable price, but that is how tech works. The new generation always offers better performance for the same money or an even lower price. This just happens to be the latest, wait a few months and it will seem like an old hat. That $50 price bump between models only set Google back about $7.50 for the additional 8GB. Notice how only the 16GB models are sold in stores? Google's making a tidy profit off that version. |
