Question About the Text-to-Speech Speed Settings on Fire HD
Hi,
I have a Kindle Fire HD. I found the Text-to-Speech speed button and now it seems that all of my books are set to the 1x setting even though I only set one of them. I want to get all of my books back to the default speed. I have cycled through the options hoping that it would let me get back to default before going back to 1x, but it didn't. So, how do I get it back to default? Someone on the Kindle boards at Amazon told me 1x is the default, but I don't think it is. Thanks very much in advance! |

1x is normal speed, not slowed down, not sped up. It is the default speed of the TTS voice.

OK, good to know, thanks!
I guess that since the 1x was never there before I ever started trying to adjust the speed, I thought that it wasn't the default. |
