Debating on whether it is worth getting a little clip-on MP3 player.
Also posting about the fact that I'm posting about posting. Last edited by Dylrob; 09-18-2013 at 01:55 AM. |

On my own tonight. My parents are on their way to a concert, my sister's at work and afterwards she's going out with friends.
In 15 minutes it's time to close the store and I have to decide what I want to do for dinner (basically what take-away I want to get). After that I'm going to take a long shower and then I'm off to bed early with a big mug of tea, the second and third seasons of the original House of Cards and my Kindle. |

Trying to ignore the drunk (or insane) man talking to himself on sidewalk in front of my apartment.

Nothing so exciting for me; I'm just trying to wake up.
The clip-on ones are great. I have the Sanza Clip Zips and don't have to worry about losing them because they are so cheap. So much better than my expensive little player. |

Trying to figure out LibraryThing. I used GoodReads but after they changed their ToS on Friday afternoon and start deleting "offensive" shelves and reviews without giving the user a chance to change or delete his/her entry I'm moving. Added to that the way more and more people use GIFs in their reviews (some reviews are made up mostly out of GIFs and only a few lines to describe the book), I was fed up.
LT isn't as extensive (yet) as GR but it seems a lot friendlier. I'm staying on GoodReads because I participate in the MobileRead Book Challenges Group, but I'll focus mainly on LT for now. |

There is an amazon connection in all the below and I have just decided to ignore what goes on in the posting at GR. I did discover an interesting site when looking up the below information; it is https://idreambooks.com/

Right now I just finished scanning my notebook for malware, it found two (despite me being carefull) and removed them. I'm now looking into Asus Vivobook note/netbooks as a replacement. |

we had semi torrential rains on and off all day but it was not particularly cold. I have the catio off my room with a cat flap door, but also a sliding glass door. I left the sliding glass door open all day and Arragorn the Newfie and Strider and Arwen the Savannahs (identifying everyone as it seems we have an influx of new folks) got to play chase me/chase you, charge around, hide and all sorts of other four pawed fun. It will probably get too cold to let them have that door open fairly soon, but it was fun to watch them have a good time

Trying to get the smell of apple cider vinegar off my hands. I had to bathe the little ones in it earlier to remove the fleas.

^I wonder if the using a stainless steel spoon like with garlic would work. Probably not, but maybe worth a try.
