I don't think there is. Under "Available on these devices" it doesn't list anything older than the Kindle Touch for compatible eInk devices, but I don't know that that would be any kind of reliable indicator.

With the eBook linked earlier in this thread, the Kindle Touch is mentioned as compatible but the Kindle Keyboard is not listed.

As AnemicOak wrote, I don't believe that you can tell just from the listing.

However, these days most books will show Enhanced Typesetting as being available. If it is not that is a sign that there is something unusual about the formatting of the book.

Right, which is why I said nothing older than the Touch was listed as compatible. The KK is older than the Touch.
