At 20 eur the shipping, I certainly hope they did not choose a low-budget solution just to make more margin on the shipping price.

Yes, that was the email I got verbatim. That's why I was wondering if they thought I was a European customer. Fortunately the order processed without a hitch except that there was no option to enter the state I live in, though it did take the zip code. I will post when it ships, unless I don't have internet access where I am staying on vacation next week.

Well, it was $699 before shipping. I think the order page made mention of a tax as well, so $40 on top of the list price isn't getting away very cheap.

USD problems were resolved quickly, so US invites are on. That solves the riddle why some already got them.
Shipping confirmation for the first european orders should arrive tomorrow...^^
