Calibre reducing image sizes?
Can anyone assist me with a problem I have in converting books from Mobi to ePub format, please?
I've created a Mobi file (using "Kindlegen") which contains many illustrations. In the Mobi book, the images are typically either 600 pixels wide, or 760 pixels high, depending on their aspect ratio. When I use Calibre to convert the Mobi book to ePub format, the images are being reduced in size to 501 pixels wide or 616 pixels high. What setting do I need to change in Calibre to prevent it from changing the size of the images when I convert the book? Thanks! |

I believe image sizes are stored in the output profile. You could try selecting the tablet output profile, that should deactivate image resizing.
