I wish I had a solution. Mine freezes daily as well. Often multiple times. I keep bent paperclips in every room of the house.

I suggest they should ship the device with a box of paperclips

It does it while doing anything, like playing sudoko sometimes or just navigating the menu. I have a feeling its something to do with the IR sensor since it seems to crash maybe when the light changes, this is a complete guess at what the problem could be though ^.^

You could test that; cover it up with a piece of sticky tape and a teeny bit of paper. Once covered, see if it still crashes.

mine is weird.....

My M90 does crash, but it reboots itself everytime it crashes, the crash seems to be only involved with the adobe mobile reader. Everytime it crashes, it exits to the main menu.

Shall I feel lucky? lol. Anyways, the con side is that, my reset hole actually doesn't work. I had tried to poke it several times, nothing..

Are you poking the right hole?

It's the one round the back, not the one on the bottom edge.

If that doesn't work, I'd send the unit back.

The reset button on mine doesn't do anything by itself, either. I have to hit the reset, and then push the power button to get the M90 to reboot.

I have the slight impression that working with this device is a kind of shamanic work :-))

That doesn't sound good!

I've only had to reset the device once, but I poked a retractable pencil lead into the hole on the back (couldn't find a paper clip and nothing else fitted!) and the machine reset, rebooted and everything was back to normal.

Who knows how the thing is actually supposed to respond?

Here's the sum total of the reset instructions in the manual:

Quote:
RESET button
Reset the device by small pin through the hole.

Mine seems to seize as soon as one bar is lost on the battery meter. Then no amount of resetting will get past the first screen until I've recharged.

Developped in just a few days the same habit of having bent paper clips all over the house.

ADVICE TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS - DON'T BUY IT.

Even when its 'working' the screen refreshes bizarrely, flashing unexpectedly - takes ages to load documents - often randomly quits applications (useless if you're using it to read music in a concert!).
