Export notes gone in 5.13.7

Why can't you export notes in the new update?

You should be able to do that. When you have a book open tap the top of the screen, select the three vertical dot icon, and choose Notes & Highlights. Export will be at the bottom.

It is there but it is dead and greyed out. It doesn't work. At least not on the 5 random books I've tried so far. Actually, it is black and seems correct for maybe 1/4 second if not less, then it goes grey and stays dead.

Well it works for me. It’s only grayed out if there are no notes for the book.

There are definitely notes as I highlighted a dozen or so snippets to be studied. Never had any trouble exporting them until this latest update.

I have never been able to export notes from sideload kfx files. I receive an email informing me that it was not possible to export the notes. But it works normally with purchased ebooks.

I've only tried with purchased books. It worked fine up to and through the last version and has not worked with any book yet in the newest version.

Just tried it on two more randomly selected titles and they don't work either.

Just got help with Amazon chat. Turns out you must have Whispersync enabled for export notes to work. Not sure if that was required in prior versions or not. Anyway, it's fixed now. Now if they just fix the contents to show 8 titles again like it used to.
