Making a Dictionary for Gen 3
Just having got a Gen 3, and enjoying messing around with a the lookup feature, It got me thinking about making a specialised dictionary, with meaning that are relevant to me.

So I wanted to ask, Has anyone made their own personal dictionary for the Gen3? If so how difficult was it. Are there any easy to understand directions to the process.

I'm asking as a person who is quiet new to making e-books, and as such am still trying to figure out how to make a TOC in mobipocket creator to work .

Well, found the Option in Creator to make a Dictionary.D'oh!

Now I just have to go through the process of creating the file.

Question is, can the dictionary be generated from a text or html file, or does each word have to be entered in manually. If there is a easy way to do it, would appricate some pointers.
The GNU International Dictionary discussion, did not have any information on actually creating the file, as the poster commented that he had already deleted all the specific modification he had done to the xml source.

Another question I have is does the dictionary have to be in one of the standard languages?
If I have the fonts installed (TTF) on my system and on the Gen 3 can it be another language?

See How to create your own mobipocket dictionary for any language:. Note that the mobigen.exe step can probably be replaced by MobiPocket Creator (open it on the .opf file).

I've been looking under the Cybook forum so far, so this slipped by me.

Now have to figure out how to run python scripts

Well will have some time after after finishing my exams on Wednesday, to do some experimentation.
