Problem with Screen/Display

Yesterday after charging the battery on my beBook the screen is all screwed up so I can't read it at all. Has anybody ever seen a problem like this? Is my unit totally broken?

I've tried doing a hard re-set, but the screen is still 1/2 blacked out.

I got this problem with another brand.
Display is broken by pressure force, you need to contact manufacturer for e-ink display replacement.

OK, thanks for the clarification. I thought that might be the problem.

I contacted bebook and the cost to replace the screen is not worth it. I thought it was a much better deal to purchase a new Sony PRS-600 by spending just a little bit more than the repair cost quote from beBook. I'm glad I did that, the performance and build quality of the Sony is leaps and bounds ahead of the beBook. No looking back for me.
