Has anyone bought a Boox at taobao.com yet?
hi,

I would like to know if anyone has made some experience with ordering and buying a Onyx Boox device at the Chinese taobao.com?

I am interested in this:

How did it work? How did you pay? Which service you took out for ordering? How much tax and/or custom/duty was it? What components does the total price have? Were there any problems with possibly re-shipping the device for repair and with the warranty?

As for custom/duty I know of this site where you can calculate prices including taxes or customs:
https://de.pandacheck.com/zollrechner It is in German but I think you can change languages. You can also set it for Ereaders because every product seems to have different costs.

I did it!
Via Banggood, chinese site.

I bought Onyx Boox Max Carta, for 606€, the 17 of june, and received it the 27 of lthe same month (10 days); via DHL; i paid 68€ plus for tax et customs.

Thanks and wow, that's a nice price + quick delivery! So you paid 674€ in total which is much less in tax and customs than I expected. On the site for prices that I have linked the calculation is 606€+143€ in tax and customs totalling 748€. May be the site does not calculate the right type of costs...

@lems1995 I think I got it now. Taxes and customs vary between countries. You probably live in a country with lesser taxes than mine.

I am living in France, Correze. France is known as a hight tax country!, but the price varying daily, as th yuan chinese money.
Before ordering, i visited the web a lot, about the reliabilty of Banggood, so i decided but with some anxious, as you see, i got it very quicly.
