Accuweather URLs
The WCC file uses
http://www.accuweather.com/pda/pda_5...?thisZip=60612 for the URL but I prefer http://avantgo.accuweather.com/pda/i...?zipcode=60612 I doubt I'm the first to spot this other URL but, in the spirit of contribution, I thought I'd post it. |

Kenpo, this is actually a very nice alternative link. Deserves its own entry

Zorro, try to open it up with your PC browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and enter the Zip code from there. The page you are redirected to is the one you want to use with iSiloX.

that is the first thing I did...
I clicked on his link, entered my zip 85308 and then copied the link... pasted it in isilox etc etc, enabled cookies.... I get the error Unable to open: mailto:avantgo@accuwx.com not sure what is going on, but it gives me an 8k file that is the setup screen for the page via avantgo any suggestions? |

well I went into my origional accuweather file in isilox and changed the url to the new one, and it works, although I can no longer "Get Details" and can't see "optional location forcast"
is this normal? or am I missing some cookies... ok, n/m I ran the conversion process again, and this time it gave me the correct cookies... Last edited by zorro_ksig8; 07-13-2003 at 12:16 PM. |

Really, really nice weather site. Wish I could get it to work. I can get to it in Safari (IE for Mac's). I really want it on my handheld. I copied url with my zip, enabled cookies, link depth 1. When I sync, I get a generic home page looking thing - no graphics, just input for my zip. Any suggestions?
Thanks. |

Cookies for AccuWeather
What cookies do you currently have set up for Accuweather? IIRC I needed six cookies.

Cookie? IIRC? 6?
All I did was enable the send and receive cookies on the isilox screen... (Sorry if this is an isilox for dummies question...) |

there are no cookie there, but I have both the send and receive cooikes activated. Doesn't isilox actually receive cookies? Do I have to put them in manually? Where do I find them, if I do? (I am a Mac person - I browse with Safari.)
Thanks for your help!! |
