Onyx Boox Nova/Note Pro and Vitalsource Bookshelf

Hi,
Could anyone please tell me if Vitalsource Bookshelf works fine on Onyx Boox Nova Pro and Note Pro?

I am planning to buy an android ereader to be able to read vbk books from Vitalsource app because the studybooks i purchased can be opened only with the latest Bookshelf app version which has broken pdf printing. And when trying to print directly from VitalSource webpage, page numbers are messed up and some pages are missing from pdf. And not to mention full page size watermarks they now add to pdfs. So, I am sick of this and now looking for an ereader that could run Vitalsource Bookshelf app from Play store.
I am aware that it is a bit difficult to install the app to current Android 6.0 version, but i've heard Android 9.0 update should come in a week or so.
