Random Insanity
Once I was a member of another forum, a tech forum. In the Off Topic area there was a thread started by a character called "BadLlama" At last count the thread had 9,061 posts in it (by far the longest thread on the site.) Below is a post from that thread summarizing the first three to four thousand posts as written by BadLlama. Reading this almost makes me think I am back at one of Marc's parties sometime last/next week.
I offer it here for your enjoyment. After all, since llamas are bad a "bad llama" must be good. Quote:

So, what you're saying then, is that the Good Professor Wood is the famous Good Forum War Hero Wood as well? I am not surprised. I've always suspected there was at least a smidgen of Jean Rasczak in you: Come on, you apes! You want to live forever?
Cheers Marc (I'm from Noosa Heads, and I say kill 'em all!) |

I once started a fart joke thread on Nutrisystems site that lasted over a year and had more that 1500 posts. Haven't checked lately to see if it is still running.

The unusually high tolerance levels for US threads among the staff is hereby explained. I'm the opposite, on daniweb.com I was an absolute purist. Code tags required, no off-topic posts, violators will be infracted!
Then I came here and introduced Harv and Vera, the rutting rednecks, to the group. |

watch out wood : in 4 posts your post count will be 4444 which is four fours which is therefore one more than four cubed and adds a further dimension to the forum.
can the software handle this ? or are you going to create a tesseract into which we will all fall ??? |

I'm fined two Zeldas? The mind boggles at what this might entail. I'm ready: do your worst.

I remember passing three threes and it wasn't tto bad. Two twos was a piece of cake. One one was was also life changing as it was my first post here -- it seems like so long ago and like it was yesterday. Who knows how this new system will work. Perhaps Taylor will enjoy spending two days:
Then he gets a day as Ricky. |

I would endure a day as Ricky (woodcutting is fine, the cat wrangling would leave me at death's door) for the Zelda treatment. I'd even dress as her. Smart(ass) Wool socks and MR t-shirts? Yeah, I can handle that.
