Best Image Dimensions for Fire
Hi all,

I'm new to the boards. I've been lurking for a few years but have joined because... well, I want something!!

I'm about to format a kids picture book for Kindle but I want to optimise it for viewing on the Fire.

Does anyone know what image dimensions provide best viewing on this device?

I originally thought 600 x 800px @ 72 dpi. But I have a feeling that I'm way off since the Fire seems to be more of a widescreen format.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Fire's screen has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution (169 ppi)
